Me: When did you first start teaching at Union?
Ms. French: I started teaching at UHS in August 2014.
Me: Where is your favorite place to eat in Tulsa?
Ms. French: I love almost ALL Mexican restaurants in Tulsa, but I enjoy Roosevelt’s for the atmosphere (beautiful Christmas light shows)!
Me: What do you think your best qualities are?
Ms. French: My best qualities are that I genuinely care for my students. I realize that NO ONE has a perfect home life, so l have no idea what my students go through before they get to my class or what they go home to when they leave my class. I want them to know that someone cares about their success & their future.
Me: What is your favorite thing about Union?
Ms. French: My favorite thing about Union is the diversity!!!I love that we have so many cultures & ethnicities represented, and we all work together to make US the best high school in the nation!!!
Me: What do you need to do to improve yourself?
Ms. French: I could work on patience. I’m not a very patient person sometimes.
